Tartan Fabric Yardage - 13oz Mediumweight Wool (Single Width)

Traditionally the weight of this fabric is used for making men's kilts as it provides a good weight to the kilt so that it hangs well.  Most of the tartans listed here have asymmetric patterns which necessitates an uncut length of fabric and therefore woven in single width, approx 31".  It is possible to have the cloth woven in full double width, minimum 60 yards, unless listed in the double width range.
